Blake Howard emerged at least 51 years ago from the cupboard under a sink and has been recognised by more than 33 people as a sympathetic ear, an empathetic heart and a slightly skewed composer of new musics. All this has been generated and continually supported by exploring music from all points, losing of the mind with friends, accompanying contemporary dance classes (DAI, TDT, STDT, CCDT, Dancemakers, YorkU, NBC,Cawthra Park, TMU, SSOD) as well as attending to the music for dance performances in a wide range of settings. There was also the good fortune of studying time with Jim Blackley over a seven year period divided into two intervals. So many teachers. One Teacher. 

  Being a member of the continually exfoliating group known as GUH would provide background for contributions to such beautiful artists as Maggie Keogh, Don Rooke, Michael White, Sandro Perri, Dave Clark, Brodie West with and without Eucalyptus, Craig Dunsmuir, Michael Smith, Karen Ng, Ted Crosby, Colin Fisher, Cots, Ryan Driver, Justin Haynes, Rob Clutton, Martin Arnold, Jason Kenemy, Germaine Liu, Josh Cole, Lina Allemano, Aline Homzy, Nick Storring, John Oswald, Michael Davidson, Dana Sipos, Peter Zummo, James Thompson, Priya Thomas, Thomas Hammerton, Nick Zubeck, Mark McIntyre, Emily Mover, Alex Lukashevsky, Jesse Dara, Slow Loris, Rock Plaza Central, Kurt Newman, Kyp Harness, Andrea Kuzmich, Alexandra Babiak, Chris Bartos, Chris Banks, Quadruped and sometimes even Spooky Ruben.

Blake Howard est sorti il y a au moins 51 ans du placard sous un évier et a été reconnu par plus de 33 personnes comme une oreille attentive, un cœur empathique et un compositeur légèrement décalé de nouvelles musiques. Tout cela a été généré et continuellement soutenu par l’exploration de la musique sous tous ses angles, la perte de la raison avec des amis, l’accompagnement de cours de danse contemporaine (DAI, TDT, STDT, CCDT, Dancemakers, YorkU, NBC, Cawthra Park, TMU, SSOD) ainsi que la participation à la musique pour des spectacles de danse dans des contextes variés. Il a également eu la chance d’étudier pendant sept ans avec Jim Blackley, en deux périodes distinctes. Tant d’enseignant. Un seul enseignant.
