Darryl Tracy is a Toronto-based independent dance artist (interpreter, choreographer, teacher and producer). He was a senior faculty member and resident choreographer at Dance Arts Institute (formerly the School of Toronto Dance Theatre) from 1996-2021 under the artistic direction of Patricia Fraser and now back with Dance Arts (Anatomy, Injury Prevention and Contemporary Technique). As an interpreter, he has created roles in works by many of Canada's leading choreographers, including: Darcey Callison, Marie-Josée Chartier, Sarah Coffin, Lesandra Dodson, Michael DuMaresq, Jenn Goodwin, Michelle Silagy, Holly Small, Heidi Strauss, Michael Trent, and Gerry Trentham. He and Heidi Strauss were co-artistic directors of four chambers Dance Projects from 1998-2006, commissioning duets from choreographers Conrad Alexandrowicz, Sarah Chase, Marie-Josée Chartier, Yvonne Coutts, Lesandra Dodson, Sylvain Émard, and Julia Sasso. Their duet created by Italian-based company Deja Donne garnered them a nomination in Outstanding Performance in Dance for the prestigious Dora Mavor Moore Award. Darryl was also part of the company Sylvain Émard Danse in Montreal for 4+ years dancing and touring in Émard's Temps de chien. As a choreographer, Darryl has created over 42 of his own works through commissions and self-produced productions. He was nominated for the K.M. Hunter award in 2013. Darryl has a dual career as a neuro rehabilitation physiotherapist and is Director of Neuro-Rehabilitation at Alpha Health Services (East). Darryl teaches Anatomy and Contemporary Technique with the Teacher's Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School.

Darryl Tracy est artiste de danse indépendant (interprète, chorégraphe, enseignant et producteur) basé à Toronto. Darryl mène une double carrière en tant que physiothérapeute spécialisé en rééducation neurologique et directeur du service de rééducation neurologique chez Alpha Health Services (Est). Darryl enseigne l'anatomie et les techniques contemporaines dans le cadre du programme de formation des professeurs de l'École nationale de ballet du Canada.

Jessie Garon (she/they) is a performer, choreographer and educator working in contemporary dance theatre. Originally from a homesteaded family farm in Alberta, she is now based in Tkaronto/Toronto. She is a graduate of Dance Arts Institute after which she interned for Ate9 Dance Company (Los Angeles) under Artistic Director Danielle Agami studying Gaga Movement Language daily.
Since 2014, she has participated primarily in collaborative processes blending performative forms. Her work incites the potential of dance virtuosity, rigor and spectacle as materials to craft spirited, athletic and abstract dance theatre. As an interpreter Garon has worked with and for artists such as Brandy Leary/Anandam Dance Theatre, Jennifer Dallas/Kemi Contemporary Dance Projects, Serge Bennathan, Lemi Ponifasio/MAU (New Zealand), Clarice Lima/Futura (Brazil) and Sara Porter.
Garon is the founder and Artistic Director of Vazari Arts. As a creator she is nominated for the 2024 Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prizes. Her work has been shown across Canada, including the Theatre Centre (ON), Pumphouse Theatre (AB), Refinery Theatre (SK), Édifice Wilder Espace Danse (QC) and Salle Bernard-LeBlanc (NB). Her newest work 'everything i wanted to tell you' premiered to a sold out audience this past February as part of the Citadel LIVE 24/25 season.

Jessie Garon (elle/iel) est interprète, chorégraphe et éducatrice qui travaille dans le domaine de la danse-théâtre contemporaine. En tant qu'interprète, Garon a travaillé avec et pour des artistes tels que Brandy Leary/Anandam Dance Theatre, Jennifer Dallas/Kemi Contemporary Dance Projects, Serge Bennathan, Lemi Ponifasio/MAU (Nouvelle-Zélande), Clarice Lima/Futura (Brésil) et Sara Porter.
Garon est la fondatrice et la directrice artistique de Vazari Arts. En tant que créatrice, elle est nominée pour les Prix Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts 2024. Muchochoma was born in Quelimane, Mozambique. His dance career and training began in Quelimane with Montes Namuli Dance Company. In August of 2006 he came to Toronto with the company for the International AIDS Conference.
A dance artist for more than 35 years, Bonnie Kim is a multiple Dora Award nominee for performance and choreography and was named one of “Toronto’s top five dancers,” by Eye Weekly magazine. Highly regarded as a teacher, mentor and outside eye, Bonnie was Rehearsal and later Associate Director of Dancemakers for nine years. She trained at Claude Watson School for the Arts and Dance Arts Institute (formerly The School of Toronto Dance Theatre), where she is currently on faculty, and is a contemporary teacher at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has performed with many of Canada’s most respected artists and companies, including Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers, Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault, Claudia Moore and Hanna Kiel. Bonnie’s writing has been published in the Dance Current, Eye Weekly, Toronto Star, Toronto Life and the Fall for Dance North program magazine.

Emily Spearing (she/her) trained at Dance Arts Institute (formerly The School of Toronto Dance Theatre). Upon graduating, Spearing worked as a freelance dancer for various companies, collectives and independent choreographers in Toronto and Halifax and has been a key member of Nostos Collectives since 2016.
She attended the post-graduate International Choreographic Exchange Program at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). After completing the program she was invited for a year long Artistic Residency at SEAD. Emily has been able to present her own professional choreographic works at New Faces New Dances Festival (Austria), Kinetic Open Studio Series (Halifax), Dance Ontario’s Dance Weekend, Dance Works Co-Works, Edmonton’s NextFest, New Blue Dance Festival, Montreal Fringe Festival and London Fringe Festival as well as several self-produced shows through Nostos Collectives.

Emily Spearing (elle) a été formée à le Dance Arts Institute (anciennement The School of Toronto Dance Theatre). Jane-Alison McKinney is a Toronto based dance artist. Her work has been presented by platforms including Citadel + Compagnie, Tangente, Expanse, The Saint John Contemporary Dance Festival, Summerworks, and Guelph Dance Festival. Jane-Alison’s work with Emma Kerson, hard wire, premiered at Citadel + Compagnie in 2023, and toured to Arts Orillia and Ottawa Dance Directive in 2024. In April 2026, she will premiere a new solo work presented by Citadel Dance Exchange in Toronto.
A graduate of Dance Arts Institute (formerly The School of Toronto Dance Theatre), Jane-Alison has performed the works of a variety of dance artists in Canada and Internationally. In 2016, she was awarded a Metcalf Foundation Internship in Artistic Direction with adelheid under the mentorship of Heidi Strauss, and in 2022 was a performer in Heidi’s on air, which was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble. She is currently a faculty member in Dance at York University.
