- $100 equipment fee (Year 1 and 2)
- $135 book fee (Year 1)
- $60 book fee (Year 2)
- $375 photoshoot fee (Year 3)

All fees are in CAD.

Please note that tuition payments cover only a portion of the costs of studying in the Professional Training Program at Dance Arts Institute. All other costs are funded by various government agencies; donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations; and performance revenue. All students, therefore, are subsidized by both the public and private sectors.

AWARDS AND PRIZES

Turk Family Performance Award

Awarded at the end of first year to a student who has demonstrated significant progress in their training and performance, consistent artistic and technical accomplishment, good studio work ethic and professionalism and a passion for dance in performance, class, and rehearsal. The award recognizes a student who shows potential for success in the field.

The Leslie Wood Leadership Award

The Leadership Award is presented to a third-year student who has displayed leadership qualities and has made a significant contribution to the life of the School. The award is named in honour of Leslie Wood, the exceptionally devoted former Chair, and current Past President, of the School’s Board of Directors, and recognizes Leslie’s dedication to the School and the role model she has provided to us all.

Peggy Baker Prize for Performance

The prize is awarded to a graduating dancer who is committed to nurturing the breadth and depth of their physical and expressive capabilities, collaborates with generosity, and rises to the occasion of performance with daring, imagination and integrity.The prize is made possible by the generosity of Peggy Baker, her patrons, and a donor-advised endowment fund established in her name.
