Crossroads opens tonight!

Join us tonight through Saturday to celebrate the hard work of our students, choreographers, rehearsal directors, and Dance Arts faculty and staff.
See below a message from our Artistic Lead, Heidi Strauss:

“Crossroads marks a celebratory return to the Winchester Street Theatre, to the home theatre of Dance Arts, and a stage that has felt the passage of many cohorts of dancers over its long history. This year’s program features choreography by Amanada Acorn, Susie Burpee, Peter Chin and David Norsworthy in a mix of adapted remounts, as well as practice-based, set and improvised works. The students are fortunate to work with these incredible creative minds and meet the beautiful challenges they have offered. Through performing, they are present with the audience in a variety of important ways that honour both their individual voices and collectivity. The agency required to perform these works can only be practiced with an audience! I heartfully encourage you to make a point to see this year’s Crossroads, and share in the exciting developing artistry of these emerging artists.”
