Mark your calendars! Recent graduates and Winchester Prize recipients Kt Ayer and Ellen Moore are presenting works on August 3-6 in this year’s SummerWorks Performance Festival. This double-bill presentation is part of an ongoing partnership with SummerWorks that is generously supported by Lindy Green and Sam Chaiton as the Winchester Prize.

within sensation is a Contemporary dance piece that explores tension held in a body, how it accumulates, and how the body copes with it. It shares a meditative journey through the interpreter’s body, watching her process different sensations and emotions, as she steadily moves through space and time.

52 (navigation) is the abstract, intimate portrayal of a relationship between two people. The work is inspired physically by task-based improvisation, and emotionally by the navigation of life; the surprising tenderness and strength that may arise from being vulnerable; and the strangeness which can bring us closer together.
