Brendan Jensen is a dancer, choreographer and movement instructor who lives
in Toronto. He is a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada and has
worked with Toronto Dance Theatre, Public Recordings and many others.
Brendan was a recipient of the DanceWeb Europe scholarship in conjunction
with the ‘2008 Impulstanz’ festival in Vienna, Austria. Brendan has facilitated
classes and workshops for Toronto Dance Theatre, The School of Toronto
Dance Theatre, The Art Gallery of Ontario and Museum of Contemporary Art.
He has also co-led international retreats that offer intensive explorations in the
practice of togetherness; operating from the belief that people thrive in
community, where the individual can find personal definition in the
transformative force of fellowship. For the past decade, Brendan has been a
mainstay instructor at Modo studios across Toronto and Canada.
Brendan is currently training to be an Alexander technique instructor under the
guidance of Susan Sinclair.
