Andrea Spaziani

Andrea Spaziani records improvised moving and talking to create choreographic scores with interdisciplinary artists. Her current research explores dance as spatial sound, questioning how the rich perceptive experience of dance might be conveyed in ways that decentre visual images. 

 Recent projects include “DoppelTone.com” made with members of the CNIB, “Badlands: A Dance in Time” co-created with Matt Smith / Prince Nifty in-residence at Lobe 4D Sound in Vancouver featuring Julia Male, Germaine Liu, and Sofi Gudiño, “Crisis of Froth” at the Emily Harvey Foundation in Venice, Italy, and the film triptych “Aggro Infinitum: estrogen amnesia” co-created with Alicia Grant.

Andrea Spaziani enregistre des mouvements et des conversations improvisés afin de créer des partitions chorégraphiques avec des artistes interdisciplinaires.
